Tamar Valley Preschool is part of Calstock Community Primary school, and uses all the facilities of the school including the Early Years and Reception classroom, outdoor play areas a the main hall. Our vision is to provide a safe and stimulating environment, where all children are valued as individuals, can gain a sense of self-worth, achieve their full potential and can be happy, healthy and learn through play. We celebrate and value different cultures, and encourage and appreciate moral values.

Tamar Valley Pre-school strives to promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment, in which all children flourish and reach their full potential. The main ethos of our pre-school is building the independence and confidence skills needed for life and school. We do this by learning through play and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We are an OFSTED ‘Good’ provider (OFSTED report) We have Local Education Authority funded places for 3-year-olds and eligible 2-year-olds.
